Daniel Brown, Luke Thompson, Ross Sutherland and Jake Cairns who are in Year 10 and are studying a BTEC in Physical Education at Tudhoe Grange volunteered to help at the Festival - they welcomed the teams and scored all the games. Many thanks gentlemen.

COXHOE WIN FIRST TOURNAMENT

With over 60 pupils, from around Tudhoe taking part in the first of seven Sedgefield Primary Basketball Festivals, the Tournament got off to a great start. Pupils had a 2 hour coaching session with a Wildcat Basketball coach prior to taking part in the tournament which showed in the level of skill and team work within the teams. Each school entered 2 teams and played a 4 v 4 hoops competition at Spennymoor Leisure Centre and the games were officiated by two of the Wildcats players, Scott Morten and Stephen Jones and coached by Coach Aristea. After over 2 hours of competition the overall WINNERS were Coxhoe A.
