SHOOT OUT DECIDES FINAL

Nine teams took part in the Woodham Cluster Basketball Festival Tournament held at Woodham Leisure Centre on Wednesday 3rd February. After an initial round robin tournament 4 teams went through to the semi-finals and 5 teams played in a Plate Competition. The semi-finals winners were Vane Road B team and Walworth Primary, both teams beat their opposition, the teams from Aycliffe Village 2 - 1 and went through to the finals. At the end of full time the score was tied at one all so a team shoot out was used to decide the final placing. This was won 1 - 0 by Vane Road who now go on to represent Woodham in the Cluster Finals which will be held at Ferryhill Leisure Centre on Monday 1st March 9.30 - 12.00.
